What I Did
As the Production Sound Mixer and Boom Operator on a recent three-day shoot, I was responsible for capturing pristine dialogue and ambient sound while simultaneously managing three wireless systems. This project showcased my ability to maintain exceptional audio quality while coordinating closely with the entire production team.
Throughout the shoot, I meticulously placed microphones to capture optimal sound, continuously monitored audio levels in real time, and ensured consistency across all recording channels. My technical expertise allowed me to troubleshoot issues quickly, preventing potential audio problems from disrupting the production schedule.
Effective communication proved essential as I worked alongside the director, camera operator, and talent to achieve the production's sonic vision. By maintaining clear lines of communication and adapting to the dynamic needs of the set, I delivered professional-grade audio that will enhance the final product's overall quality and impact.
